Outside, residents and families enjoy our inviting and lush courtyard and a spacious backyard adorned with beautiful garden beds. Our Care Services
Enhancing Independence & Wellness
At Brentwood at Niles, residents receive tailored care in order to live as independently as possible. Care services include support with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and hygiene. Our knowledgeable team members coordinate with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Memory Care Neighborhood
Our memory care program, Along the Journey, goes beyond the physical, focusing on emotional well-being, comfort, and respect for residents and families. Our dedicated staff provides compassionate support, understanding each individual's story. With a Memory Care Neighborhood for Alzheimer’s and Dementia, plus serene outdoor spaces, we're here for every step of the journey.
Short-Term Respite Care
Temporary care is available for residents who may need assistance after a hospital or rehab stay, or when caregivers plan a vacation or just need some time to relax and recharge. You will receive all of the amenities and care that you need, but for a shorter, predetermined length of stay.

Our Life Enrichment Programming puts your passions front and center! Crafted around resident input, it ensures the well-being of our residents by addressing the mind, body, and soul.

As we kick off National Activity Professionals Week (a week early), we’re proud to recognize the incredible Life Enrichment Directors and Champions who bring the fun, excitement, and connection to our communities every single day.
First up: John Coleman, Life Enrichment Director & Champion at Brentwood at Niles.
John is most proud of his ability to bring joy and smiles to residents throughout the day, while also supporting fellow Life Enrichment Directors as they grow and strengthen their programs. He leads with heart, deeply rooted in Priority Life Care’s commitment to nurturing the mind, body, and soul through meaningful experiences.
Leadership in senior living has taught John the power of giving 110% and stepping outside of his comfort zone to bring energy, creativity, and joy into the community. What motivates him each day is deeply personal: his faith, his family, and his father’s journey with dementia. The lessons John learns from residents don’t stop at work; they carry into how he cares for his own family, making this work both impactful and profoundly meaningful.
To anyone considering a career in senior living, John’s advice is simple but powerful: Be a leader in whatever you do. Give it your all. Learn from everyone around you. Embrace discomfort as a place for growth, and above all, be yourself.

Brentwood at Niles celebrated a special Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for resident Elizabeth C., honoring her fulfilled wish from December 14, 2025. With the help of Wish of a Lifetime, Elizabeth enjoyed a meaningful outing to Tippecanoe Place Restaurant and the South Bend Symphony at the Morris Performing Arts Center, revisiting cherished memories of her 50th wedding anniversary and family gatherings. Surrounded by family and staff, she experienced a joyful day filled with music, love, and gratitude. We sincerely thank Wish of a Lifetime for making this cherished moment possible.
